4 Important Things to Start Preparing for Your Destination Wedding

If you recently got engaged, you need to make sure that you plan your wedding carefully. Especially since you need your big day to turn out into a success, you will really need to be meticulous with your details. Thinking about having a destination wedding?

Here are some things you need to consider before you have a dream destination wedding:

Prepare the Paperwork
Before you plan your destination wedding, you need to make sure that you have the necessary paperwork for your big day. One thing you have to remember is that each destination you go to has a different set of requirements for marriage. You need to research this information and comply with this so your wedding will be legalized.

Choose Your Destination
The next thing you need to consider is the destination that you are choosing. One of the things that will help you pick one out is to take a look at the activities that are available in the venue. Your guests will need to find something they can do while they’re at your wedding. This is why you have to choose a venue, which will be accommodating to everyone.

Set the Date
If you’re on a tight budget, make sure that you stick to it no matter what. Destination weddings can be very costly so you need to be strict with your budget. One way you can cut costs down is to choose an off-season date in your venue. This way, you’ll be able to save a lot of money on your venue.

Hire a Wedding Planner
There are a number of wedding planners who may be able to help you with your big day. By hiring a planner, you can stop worrying about the details of your wedding. You can also call us to check out how we can help you with your travel arrangements for your destination wedding.

What Do You Need to Bring to Your Destination Wedding

So you made plans to have a destination wedding. You’ve hired the best wedding planner who made all the necessary arrangements for your big day. All that’s missing is you and your luggage.

Unlike Bella Swan (on Twilight), whose luggage was packed by vampire-turned-sister-in-law Alice; you don’t have the luxury of having someone do that for you (unless you have a maid). You will need to be the one to prepare your luggage with all the things you will need for your big day.

So what do you pack? How do you make sure that you’ve brought everything? Here are some tips to help:

·      Create a Checklist. Remember, even Santa Claus made a checklist so he doesn’t forget anyone. In the same essence, you have to make a checklist with all the things you will need for your trip. As early as possible, you need to list down the things that you should bring so that you don’t forget anything. As the big day starts getting closer, you can still keep on adding things to that list so you have everything you need.
·      Necessary Documents. Especially if you’re going to another country for your destination wedding, make sure that you have photocopied all your necessary documents and bring it with your during your trip. This way, you won’t have to worry in case something gets lost.
·      Your Wedding Dress. Please, under any circumstance, do not forget this. Make sure that you pack it perfectly so that it won’t have any problems during its travel period. Our previous blog post explains how best you can have your dress transported to the venue.

Your destination wedding will be something to look forward to and be excited about. Don’t allow anything to bother you, not even your family and friends’ travel arrangements. Call us today so we can help you get that covered!

5 Tips for Planning a Beach Wedding

Having a beach wedding ceremony is a dream come true for many couples  wedding you need a very good planning to pull a beach wedding successfully:

Here are some tips which will help you in organizing a beach wedding:

Be realistic:  When most people think of beach wedding they imagine sand, ocean breeze and beautiful sunset. But sometimes a beach wedding can bring hundreds of onlookers, wind at high velocity which can ruin your hair, makeup and dress. Have a professional on site to keep it all together.

Heels:  Sand and heels is not a good combination. It’d be better if you wear flat soled sandals.

Get a permit: In most cases you will need a permit to have a wedding on beach. So research the local requirements and apply well in advance. You must apply for a permit at least 6 months in advance.

Hire local vendors: Hire as many local vendors as possible. As they would be better aware of the climate and weather.
